Planning A Playground in 2016

Now that we’re at the start of a new year, it is often a time when focus is turned on upcoming projects for when the weather gets warmer. Here in Maryland, West Virginia and Washington, DC, springtime is just a couple of months away – so if you’re in the market, there’s no better time to start planning a playground design!

The first thing to do is to identify the best space for your playground. The more equipment you will require, the more space you will need. Once that’s determined, it’s time to start purchasing the equipment!

Playground equipment isn’t the only thing you need to consider when creating a play area, however. Exposure to the sun is definitely something that should be thought about, so having trees or a shade structure around will be a definite plus.

Moving on to the actual equipment, there are so many ways to go! Swings, towers and slides are all popular choices that never seem to get old. Tunnels, ball pits, mast and frame nets have also become popular over the years!
